What has been the most surprising part of your Rice MBA experience?
Booking a Fourth of July trip with members of my cohort before starting the MBA program. We hardly even knew each other!
What has been your favorite thing about your MBA experience so far?
There is always someone from my cohort willing to meet up, whether to study for an upcoming exam, provide help on a case, or grab a couple of beers. Moving to Houston during the pandemic made building my sphere of influence difficult, but the Rice MBA has built me an extremely extensive one.
What do you LOVE most about Houston?
The food, and not having to clean snow off my car in the winter before heading to work!
What is one piece of advice you would share with a prospective student?
Know what you want to get from the experience career-wise before starting. It's an expensive investment, the time is short here, and recruiting timelines can move incredibly quickly. You don't want to miss the boat and look back in regret!
