The Professional MBA — Evening, Weekend and Hybrid — offers exceptional value by combining a world-class Rice MBA with the flexibility to continue advancing your career while you earn your degree. Tuition includes program costs, registration fees and the Global Field Experience course.

As a Professional MBA student, you'll customize your experience through a wide range of elective courses while benefiting from the Rice Business Career Development Office, executive speakers, leadership programming and the powerful Rice Business alumni network.
All Professional MBA formats require a non-refundable $2,500 enrollment deposit upon acceptance, which will be applied toward your first fall semester tuition.

Weekend Residency Program
The Weekend Residency Program allows you to fully immerse yourself in your MBA experience, maximize your weekend learning, and build strong connections with your cohort. This optional travel subsidy is available for Professional Weekend and Hybrid MBA students commuting to Houston, to help with the cost for professionals outside the city.

Rice Business's Weekend Residency Program includes the hotel portion of a student’s stay for class weekends. Hotel accommodations are provided by The Westin Medical Center, located near campus:

Hybrid MBA format:
The Weekend Residency Fee is covered for the first semester for Professional Hybrid MBA students. Afterwards, the fee for the program is $3,250 per semester ($6,500 per year) which is added as a line item on a student’s tuition bill each semester. Please note that the Weekend Residency Program is completely optional.

The Weekend Residency Fee does not include:
- Hotel parking
