What about the Rice MBA program has surprised you the most?
I never considered pursuing an MBA until I visited Rice. The students I met at the time were incredibly encouraging and continually helped me craft my story. Their helpfulness and enthusiasm was beyond what I could have expected.

What has been your favorite moment of your Rice MBA experience so far?
Dancing at International Partio!

What is your favorite thing about and/or favorite spot in Houston?
One of my favorite spots in Houston is the James Turrell Skyspace installation on Rice's campus. It's a cool, peaceful spot to experience the sunrise or sunset.

In a sentence, what is the one piece of advice you have for prospective students?
Remember not to take yourself too seriously. During the first semester, no one does everything with 100% effort. Manage your time and prioritize learning over grades.
