What about the Rice MBA program has surprised you the most?
I always knew Rice had an exceptional reputation, but the high caliber faculty still surprised me. Every professor is extremely passionate about the subjects they teach, and it's infectious. They will always make sure everyone understands a topic before moving on so you never feel like you're just one of many.

What has been your favorite moment of your Rice MBA experience so far?
Meeting people from such different backgrounds that are both teammates and friends.

What is your favorite thing about and/or favorite spot in Houston?
Houston is one of the most diverse cities in the country. I especially love this because trying new restaurants is one of my favorite things to do. From Chinatown dim sum to new concepts in EaDo, the delicious options are endless.

In a sentence, what is the one piece of advice you have for prospective students?
Stay true to yourself and don't try to fit any conventional mold of what you think a business school student is supposed to be.
