Joy Mayfield

Joy Mayfield is a certified compliance and ethics professional with over 20 years of experience in the energy industry and over 10 in compliance and regulatory risk management. She is currently the vice president, compliance and ethics at Cheniere Energy, Inc., a leading global energy company that produces and exports liquefied natural gas (LNG) from the U.S. Joy leads and oversees multiple functions and initiatives that support and uphold the organization’s core values, directing corporate compliance and ethics, global trade compliance, anti-bribery and corruption due diligence, information management and data privacy, and DEI initiatives. She also manages the Enterprise Training program. Her passion and expertise in compliance and ethics enable her to incorporate controls and improved methods of working into the business processes, optimize efficiencies and effectively mitigate risks. Joy’s professional objective is to promote and preserve integrity, safety and trust in the energy industry. She holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Texas A&M University and an MBA from Rice University.
