John Redmond is a result-oriented executive who exercises adaptability and strong business acumen in dealing with ambiguity and uncertainty and enables his clients to implement or execute solutions that support the overall business mission.
Mr. Redmond is an experienced talent acquisition executive with over 20 years of increasing responsibility in the Professional Services and Recruiting Industries. He has extensive knowledge and work experience in the following recruiting areas: technical, executive, sales recruitment, diversity and inclusion; demand generation and management; contingency labor and staff augmentation; behavioral and situational interviewing, and training.
Responsible for Black and Hispanic Talent Attraction and Strategy at Dell, Mr. Redmond is a driving force behind defining and executing the objectives and strategies for recruitment of diverse talent across all non-executive career levels and functional areas of the organization in North America.
Mr. Redmond has held board, corporate, honorary, and personal memberships with organizations such as the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE), The National Society of Black MBAs (NBMBAA), the National Society of Hispanic MBAs (NSHMBA, now Prospanica), Hispanic IT Executive Council (HITEC) and ITSMF. He has also served as corporate advisor and council to the organizations; operating as a coach and recruiter to members.
Mr. Redmond graduated with a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing, from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. While there Mr. Redmond was a President’s Award Scholar (4-year scholarship), a 4-year member and letter winner on the Varsity Gymnastics Team, and a founding member of Student Athlete Advisory Board (SAAB). Married with 2 children--he lives outside of Dallas, TX. His personal interests include sports (avid golfer) and exercise, cooking, and politics.
