What about the Rice MBA program has surprised you the most?
The coursework and not having any free time. I thought it would be similar to undergrad but at a faster pace but the work is very challenging and find myself studying A LOT. During the first semester I had 0 free time with recruiting and classes.

What has been your favorite moment of your Rice MBA experience so far?
Getting to know my classmates has been great. I enjoy going to partio and the different events on campus and meeting everyone.

What is your favorite thing about and/or favorite spot in Houston?
Avant Garden, I enjoy having a drink and listening to poetry so I think this is the best place to do it.

In a sentence, what is the one piece of advice you have for prospective students?
Take a vacation before business school!
