What about the Rice MBA program has surprised you the most?
For how challenging and intensive the curriculum can be, the positive and supportive nature of both the professors and students allows you to avoid feeling the day-to-day grind. The work is rewarding in the short-term and long-term.

What has been your favorite moment of your Rice MBA experience so far?
Launch Week. Our group stayed on campus past 2am on three of the first five nights, but we had a ton of fun getting to know each other and ended up the highest grade on the first major project.

What is your favorite thing about and/or favorite spot in Houston?
Having moved from Chicago a few years ago, the diversity and hospitality of Houston make it very welcoming to visitors. Rice is representative of the city in that way.

In a sentence, what is the one piece of advice you have for prospective students?
Be comfortable with being uncomfortable and embrace the journey of the program.
