Assistant Professor of Marketing

The Marketing Faculty group in the Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University, located in Houston, Texas, invites applications for two tenure-track positions at the rank of Assistant Professor, to begin July 1, 2018. We are seeking candidates who have the potential to produce high quality and impactful research in consumer behavior that has clear application in marketing. Applicants must be pursuing a PhD degree in marketing, and must have completed all degree requirements except for the dissertation, which must be completed no later than November 1, 2018.

Job Qualifications:
Applicants at the associate or full level must have a Ph.D. and an established record of excellence in scholarly research and teaching.  Applicants at the assistant level must have a Ph.D. by November 1st of the year employment commences.

Education Required
A Ph. D. degree or DBA in Organizational Behavior, Management, Business Administration, or a closely related field.   

Experience Preferred
At least two years of experience teaching core courses in organizational behavior and management; evidence of teaching effectiveness. Prior experience in a tenure- track position is preferred. Candidates lacking this experience are encouraged to also apply for the lecturer position.
