We offer multiple program formats for working professionals who all graduate with the same top-ranked Rice MBA. If the evening or twice-a-month program options don’t fit your schedule best, consider the fully online or hybrid program, which meets on campus one weekend a month.
Our Professional MBA is for you. With part-time options, evening or alternating weekends, we’ll work with you to accommodate your busy life. In addition, we offer an extended format to accommodate those who want the option of completing the program in three (or up to five) years, instead of the traditional two years. The curriculum and faculty are the same as in our full-time program, and you have the flexibility to choose from 100+ electives in your second year. Rice Business is proud to offer a travel subsidy for students commuting to Houston for the Weekend Professional MBA program. This subsidy includes the hotel portion of a student’s stay for class weekends. Hotel accommodations are provided by Houston Marriott Medical Center, located one mile from campus:
Please note that the Weekend Residency Program fee is not included in the MBA tuition. The fee for the program is $1750/semester, which is added as a line item on a student’s tuition bill each semester.

Room/tax for non-weekend programming

Rice Business does not cover payment for:
Parking
Incidentals (e.g. mini-bar tabs, late night meals at the hotel, room service, etc.)
