Richard Price
Lecturer in Accounting
Formerly, he was on the faculty at University of Oklahoma, Rice University, and Utah State University. He earned his Ph.D. in business administration with an emphasis in accounting from Stanford University in 2005. He also has a master's degree in Statistics from Stanford University (2003) and master's and bachelor's degrees in accounting from Brigham Young University (1999).
Richard's research focuses on market efficiency, accounting conservatism, financial reporting quality, and corporate governance. His research has been published in the Journal of Accounting and Economics, and Journal of Financial Economics, and several other journals. Richard has taught financial accounting to MBA students, intermediate accounting to undergraduate students, and financial statement analysis and accounting theory to graduate students.
