Rahul D. Vashi

Rahul D. Vashi is a partner in the Houston office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, and co-chair of the firm’s oil and gas practice group. He focuses on acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures in the energy sector, with an emphasis on upstream and midstream assets. Vashi is recognized by Chambers Global (2022–2024) and Chambers USA (2019–2024) for his expertise in energy.

He earned his J.D. from NYU School of Law and his B.A. and B.B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin. Vashi is a member of the Houston Bar Association in the oil, gas and mineral law section. He is admitted to practice in the state of Texas.
