Bill Hines

William (Bill) Hines is a Senior Manager at EY, one of the largest professional services firms in the world and is one of the "Big Four" accounting firms with over 250,000 employees.  Based out of the Houston office, he specializes in Mergers and Acquisitions in the Healthcare industry serving both Providers and Payers.  Prior to EY, Bill worked in M&A at Accenture working cross industries, lead a department at MD Anderson Cancer Center and worked at NASA’s Johnson Space Center.  Bill holds a BS in Aerospace Engineering, and an MA and PhD in Organizational Psychology – all from the University of Texas at Austin.  His doctoral dissertation focused on team behavior and effectiveness in stressful and consequential environments.  Working with airline pilots in the cockpit, he developed and validated a number of theories of team behavior and human error management that won him the outstanding dissertation at the University of Texas and runner-up for best dissertation globally in 1998. He has a loving husband and three rescue dogs over 50 lbs each that are the real bosses.
