Zhanar Imanbaeva

Zhanar is the associate director on the registration and student records team and primarily focuses on the MBA@Rice program. 

Prior to joining the APSE registrar team, Zhanar was in the role of assistant director, career education and advising in the career development office. Before joining Rice Business, Zhanar served as a director of an education team working in mental health. She has experience with career and education advising, leadership/management and mental health informed career support. 

Zhanar graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science with honors in psychology. She is passionate and dedicated to helping others achieve the goals they set for themselves. Zhanar values integrity, excellence and contributing to an equitable environment in her community. She enjoys helping others, running, reading and spending time with her nieces and nephews.
