Yiwen Zhang

Yiwen Zhang is a Class of 2019 full-time MBA candidate at Rice University. She graduated from Jiangsu University of Science and Technology in China in 2007 and started her career as a technical support engineer in HP where she found her passion in customer and technology. After HP, she joined Avaya as Customer Experience Program manager, leading the loyalty program in Asia Pacific region where she worked with people cross functionally to drive customer satisfaction initiatives. It was this experience where she realized that superior customer experience will build loyalty in customers.

As a mother of two kids and as a previous working mom and now as a full time MBA student, life is full of challenges and she always has the inner drive to advance herself to be a better person. She knows what it takes for women to be successful and she wants to partner with other women to promote women and make a better world for our future.
