Telemachos "Telly" Manos
Senior Project Developer, EDF Renewables
Telemachos (Telly) Manos is a Senior Project Developer at EDF Renewables where he leads prospect generation, permitting, and acquisition of grid-scale renewable energy assets in the U.S. Southeast. He currently covers a portfolio of projects in Georgia, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and ERCOT totaling over 1,500MW of capacity. While starting his career at ExxonMobil as a petroleum geologist developing shale fields in northern Alberta, he found that many of the de-risking, mapping, and business development skills critical to characterizing petroleum system elements were also highly applicable to renewables, where defining an investment thesis, quantifying uncertainty, and mitigating risk are especially important.
Telly graduated with a M.Sc. in petroleum geoscience from Texas A&M University, and a B.Sc. in Geosciences from Virginia Tech. He also serves as a combat engineer officer in the U.S. Army Reserves, where he’s completed overseas tours in the Middle East and Germany. He continues to serve as a geospatial intelligence officer for the 416th Theater Engineer Command out of Darien, IL.
