What about the Rice MBA program has surprised you the most?
The degree to which everyone bands together to help each other out, without question, to face any challenge. The student body is really a family you can count on for anything.

What has been your favorite moment of your Rice MBA experience so far?
Immersion -- diving in head-first on day one, watching as so many people from such diverse backgrounds come together to address very real business and managerial challenges, and seeing the end result from that diversity of thought be so much better than any of us would have come up with on our own.

What is your favorite thing about and/or favorite spot in Houston?
The park along Buffalo Bayou at twilight, watching the bat colony fly out from under the Waugh Street bridge against a sky alight in brilliant hues, with the distinct Houston skyline providing the perfect backdrop.

In a sentence, what is the one piece of advice you have for prospective students?
Know - and be honest with - yourself; the sooner you can do that, the sooner your passions will allow everything to fall into place.
