Sylvain Riba

Sylvain is a result-oriented team builder and adaptable business leader with a proven track record in Asset and Portfolio Management with P&L responsibility. Sylvain has more than 20 years of experience in the energy sector, with a focus on offshore wind and oil and gas exploration and development.
Passionate about delivering innovative and sustainable solutions that contribute to the energy transition and create value for stakeholders, Sylvain is currently the Managing Director of the Carolina Long Bay Offshore Wind Project at TotalEnergies, one of the world's leading energy companies.

In his current role, Sylvain is responsible for closing negotiations of offtake agreements with utility companies, implementing advanced technologies, and ensuring program performance and compliance. Sylvain also leads stakeholders’ engagement with the local community and authorities and foster relationships with public and private partners in the offshore wind industry.

Previously, Sylvain held various leadership positions at TotalEnergies, where he managed energy portfolios, budgets, assets, and teams in six countries across the Americas, Africa, and the Middle East.
