Managing Director, Houston Angel Network
Stephanie Campbell is the Managing Director of the Houston Angel Network, one of the most active angel networks in the country. She connects high tech early-stage companies with a network of over 100 angel investors and mentors. Stephanie is also Co-founder and Principal of The Artemis Fund, the first female-led, female-focused venture fund based in Houston, TX. She has extensive experience in operational management, sourcing and conducting due diligence on investments, as well as educating and recruiting investors. Stephanie currently Chairs the Houston Exponential Early Stage Investment Committee and serves on the City of Houston’s Minority and Women-Owned Task Force. Stephanie holds an MBA from the Rice University Graduate School of Business with concentrations in entrepreneurship and healthcare.
Prior to pursuing her MBA from Rice, Campbell worked as a government relations associate at the Washington, DC lobbying firm Potomac Partners DC. Stephanie served clients in the transportation and infrastructure industries as well as assisted public municipalities navigate the implementation of the Affordable Care Act. Her interest in healthcare policy lead her to assist the Texas Medical Center’s Health Policy Institute as a research consultant focusing on innovations in healthcare workforce. Her career started in Washington, in the office of House Armed Services Committee Chairman, Congressman Howard “Buck” McKeon. Campbell graduated in 2010 with a bachelor of science in political science from Spring Hill College in Mobile, Alabama.
