Stanley Kazibwe
Manager, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Program, Cheniere
Stanley leads executive and global industry partners in building diverse, equitable and inclusive cultures that deliver transformational organization impact. He has over 14 years of experience in the global energy, petrochemicals, steel, construction and consumer products industries, across a range of functional areas including human capital, project management, communication, business development, client/stakeholder management, operations & supply chain management, event planning and community engagement.
He is currently the program manager of the DE&I Program at Cheniere Energy, Inc. Prior to this role, Stanley was the Global DE&I Business Partner for United States Steel Corporation, where he oversaw the revitalization of U.S. Steel’s DE&I efforts through the publishing of their inaugural 2022 DE&I report and a “2022 Day of Understanding,” which involved over 1,000 teammates across 5 global locations – including executive leadership, steel plant operations and office personnel.
Stanley also had a 10-year career with Bechtel Corporation (Bechtel Energy). During his time as the people, culture and communications lead for a multi-billion dollar petrochemical project, he led and improved project culture, DE&I strategy, sitewide event planning and execution, internal branding and communication.
Stanley earned his BBA in Business Management at Texas Southern University and his MBA at Rice University, where he was a Jones Citizen and participated in several student clubs, including the Black Business Student Association and the energy and international business clubs.
