Saryu Shah
REFS Committee Member
Saryu is a class of 2021 full-time MBA candidate at Rice University. In addition to her involvement with REFS, she is a member of the Women’s Organization, Net Impact, and Beer Club.
Prior to pursuing her MBA, Saryu worked as an international tax consultant to several oil and gas companies in the Houston area. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Economics and Political Science and obtained her MS in Accountancy with a focus in tax.
Outside of Rice, Saryu is actively involved with local nonprofits (The Women’s Home and PAIR), enjoys cycling, and loves exploring Houston with her husband and dog.
