Richard Voorberg is the president of the North America hub of Siemens Energy, overseeing its operations in the Americas, including generation, industrial applications, renewables and transmission. He has over 30 years of experience with Siemens Energy, managing power generation projects and leading initiatives like the construction of a gas turbine factory in Charlotte, N.C. Voorberg has worked in various countries, including Canada, Argentina and Germany.
He holds a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Waterloo and an MBA from ESMT in Berlin. He resides in Winter Springs, Fla., with his wife and four children.
