Ransom C. Lummis is a private investor managing his activities through Participations & Investments, L.P. He has founded several private companies which have operated primarily in the Houston market. Such companies have operated in the accounts receivable management, executive search and real estate industries. His responsibilities were to oversee strategic planning, financing and acquisition activities. Mr. Lummis is actively involved in community non-profit organizations primarily in the area of education, health care and the arts. He currently serves as trustee of two Houston based charitable foundations. Mr. Lummis and his wife Isabel are native Houstonians and they have four daughters. He earned a BA in English from the University of Virginia and an MBA from Rice University.
