Peter Kucera

Peter Kucera has served as head of Energy Transition activities at Trafigura in Houston since 2021, leading strategy, investment, origination and structuring across the company’s low-carbon portfolio. Previously, he worked in several roles on the refined products and crude oil desks. Prior to joining Trafigura in 2017, Kucera worked as a market and technical consultant for IHS Markit, performing diligence and advisory work in downstream oil, infrastructure and energy markets for oil and gas operators, private equity and hedge fund clients.

He holds a bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University.
