Mark Palfrey currently serves as Principal Economist for New Energies in Chevron’s Corporate Business Development group. In this role he is responsible for the economic assessment and risk analysis of potential investments in projects and companies aligned with the Chevron New Energies business unit. Prior to Chevron, Mark worked for Shell New Energies and the National Petroleum Council. He holds degrees from Johns Hopkins University in Finance, Harvard University in International Trade and Finance, and Vanderbilt University in Mathematics, Computer Science, and Psychology.
