Karen Crofton spent 15 years at Air Products & Chemicals gaining expertise in project management, business development and disruptive technology commercialization. Karen then transitioned into the non-profit think tank space, becoming a principal with the Rocky Mountain Institute. Karen focuses on implementing market-based solutions for creating a cleaner and more secure energy future.
Karen holds a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering from Bucknell University and an MBA from the Jones School of Business at Rice University. Karen serves on the Alumni Board of the Jones School, and is a mentor in a variety of entrepreneur groups. Karen lives in Boulder, Colorado and enjoys all of the local trail running, skiing, and doing CrossFit.
