Jim Hughes

Jim Hughes served as CEO and managing director of Prisma Energy Capital; CEO of First Solar; and CEO and a director of AEI Services LLC, which owned and operated power distribution, power generation, natural gas transportation and services, and natural gas distribution businesses in emerging markets. Earlier in his career, Jim was president of Prisma Energy International and held several executive positions with Enron Corporation. He is a director at several companies including TPI Composites, Inc.; Alcoa Corporation; and PNM Resources. He is the former chairman of the board of directors of the Los Angeles branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. He is also a member of the Energy Advisory Board of the Dallas Federal Reserve Bank. Jim holds a JD from the University of Texas at Austin School of Law and a B.B.A. from Southern Methodist University.
