Jesus Patiño

Jesus Patiño has over 15 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry. He began his career in the oil field with M-I SWACO in Mexico before expanding into deepwater drilling assignments in the US Gulf of Mexico, Equatorial Guinea, and Ghana.

Jesus currently works at Oceaneering International as Commercial Manager, Intervention Services. Over the last 9 years, he has taken multiple roles in the organization including Business Analyst for Subsea Products, and Marketing Manager for the Umbilical Solutions business, and Manager for Strategy Development with the Corporate M&A Group. His experience spans over deepwater operations, sales process, bids and proposals, marketing, revenue forecasting, cost and risk analysis, Mergers and Acquisitions and Strategic Planning.

He holds a Chemical Engineering degree from ITESO University in Mexico, and a Master of Business Administration from Rice University, with a concentration in Energy and Finance. While at Rice, he was president of the Energy Club and was awarded the Jones Citizenship Award.  Jesus is a Community Associate for Duncan College at Rice, served six years in the Rice Business Alumni Association Board and was its president during the 2017-2018 cycle. Jesus is married to Gabriela, they have a twelve-year-old daughter and eight-year-old twin boys.
