Why did you select Rice Business for your MBA? 

I have an undergraduate degree in sociology from Rice University. Then, I did the Healthcare Management Certificate and loved it. I did not consider any other schools. I love Rice. 

How has Rice helped you with your career? 

My Rice MBA experience helped me in my career by allowing me access to interesting administrative projects within my organization. More importantly, my MBA helped me with all aspects of my life. I am a much happier and fulfilled person since completing my MBA because I let go of many self-limitations and expanded my interests.

What is the most important advice you’d like to share with prospective and current students?

Enjoy the journey instead of stressing about the destination.

What have you valued most in the Rice black student and/or alumni network?

I love learning from the network. People are so talented and have so much to offer.

Anything else you’d like to share?

Rice is a great institution because it pushes you beyond your comfort limits. It was such a fun and wonderful time.
