James McIngvale (Jim) Founded and serves as the Co-Owner of Gallery Model Homes, Inc. Gallery Furniture is the largest independent furniture retailer in Texas. Mr. McIngvale opened his furniture store in 1981. Popularly known as Mattress Mack, he has seen his dream grow and become a multi-million dollar enterprise. Mr. McIngvale graduated from Bishop Lynch High School in Dallas, and attended college at the University of Texas and North Texas State University.
