What about the Rice MBA program has surprised you the most?
How close my class has become. We spend a lot of time with each other and although I knew that I would make new friends, the closeness of the class is pleasantly surprising.
What has been your favorite moment of your Rice MBA experience so far?
I have a hard time selecting a single moment that stands above. I have enjoyed the experience immensely. If I were to be forced to choose a single event, I would have to say the excitement that I felt when I was told that I was accepted.
What is your favorite thing about and/or favorite spot in Houston?
My favorite part of Houston is its diversity. I love the variety of cultures, cuisines, and personalities that can be seen and exist within one city. It is hard to imagine another city where so many cultures coexist.
In a sentence, what is the one piece of advice you have for prospective students?
Make sure to engage as fully as your schedule will allow. You want to spend as much time hanging out and studying with your classmates and friends as you can.
