David Sawyer

David is a Class of 2021 Full-Time MBA Candidate at Rice University. In addition to his involvement with REFS, he is active in the Energy, Private Equity, and Consulting Associations. Prior to pursuing his MBA, David was employed at BP and worked in upstream capital projects as a project advisor and engineering lead across the Middle East, South America, and USA. David graduated from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. Outside of Rice, David enjoys playing with his son, watching the NBA, playing golf, and reading biographies.
