What has been the most surprising part of your Rice MBA? The tight-knit community, how approachable the professors are, and how the size of the program allows you to meet almost everyone in the program (from classmates to faculty/administrators). I love the Partios, where students, faculty, families, and all the Rice community can have the opportunity to enjoy a friendly environment.
What has been your favorite thing about your MBA experience? The opportunity to connect with people from all over the globe with such different backgrounds and stories. Also, being back at school and learning business topics that will enable me to excel in any leadership position.
What do you love most about Houston? I like that there are so many green areas, beautiful parks, museums, and wildlife you can see easily. Although summers can be super hot, I appreciate the warm weather for most of the year. Additionally, I like that it's an affordable city, and for the foodies, you will never get bored discovering new places to eat.
What is one piece of advice you would share with a prospective student? Start your recruiting and networking process as early as possible.
