Carol Liu

Carol Liu is a class of 2023 Professional MBA student at Rice University. 

Prior to business school, Carol worked for Equinor where she worked as valuation lead for their Global Strategy and Business team, where she led a multi-disciplinary team to evaluate transactions for the energy industry, covering both petroleum and renewable energy. Prior to Equinor, she worked as a senior reservoir engineer or corporate economist for Oxy and Hilcorp, with a mix of experience in investment financial evaluation and technical engineering for the oil and gas industry.

Carol had two MS in Chemical Engineering and Environmental Engineering from Rice University, and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Sun Yat-sen University in China.

In her spare time, she likes to volunteer in her neighborhood schools and parks
