Carlos Marchese

Carlos Marchese is a second year Full-Time MBA student. He is an operations co-chair of REFS and social chair of the Rice Business Student Association. Carlos received his undergraduate degree from Universidad del Pacifico in Lima, Peru.

Before starting his MBA, Carlos worked as a deals analyst for Trafigura’s natural gas and crude oil trading desks. He now works on the corporate and business development teams of Syzygy Plasmonics, focusing on solutions for the decarbonization of the chemical industry. In his spare time, Carlos trains calisthenics, surfs and likes to try different restaurants with friends.
