Ayobayo is a class of 2025 MBA candidate at Rice University. She has a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering with over 7 years of work experience. She started her career as a Process Control Engineer, and moved on to gas and power consulting where she worked for 5 years before commencing her MBA program. She has led diverse projects including the development of gas-based industrial parks, pre-feasibility assessment for the development of an LNG plant, implementation of gas flare reduction initiatives, and the development of energy blueprints and natural gas policies across multiple countries in Africa. She is particularly interested in the international energy market and the potential of leveraging sustainable technologies to make energy more accessible and scalable.
