What has been the most surprising part of your Rice MBA? The most surprising element of my MBA at Rice was the tangible commitment to diversity experienced during the Diversity Preview Weekend. Witnessing firsthand Rice's sincere dedication to embracing varied backgrounds and perspectives was profound. The consistent message "You Belong Here" was embodied in every interaction, affirming the depth of community and inclusivity that Rice upholds.
What has been your favorite thing about your MBA experience? As a fellow of The Consortium, I was privileged to attend a pre-MBA event in New Orleans. This occasion not only allowed me to meet several of my future classmates but also provided the chance to discover the unique aspects of the city. Furthermore, the event facilitated the formation of new friendships with peers from various MBA programs and enabled me to engage in networking opportunities with a diverse array of companies.
What do you love most about Houston? I moved to Houston at the end of 2022 and am still exploring and enjoying the food scene. During my downtime, my wife and I travel to different parts of Houston to try other restaurants.
