John Woodiel

John currently serves as a Corporate Development Manager at Syzygy Plasmonics, maintaining a number of key financial and commercial responsibilities since January 2023. John’s primary roles at Syzygy include capital fundraising, techno-economic and lifecycle analysis, financial modeling and scenario planning, market research, and technical customer engagement. Prior to joining Syzygy, John spent five years as an Investment Banking Associate and Sr. Analyst at Raymond James & Associates, supporting M&A and capital markets transactions across the energy sector. Before joining the investment banking team, John began his career as an Equity Research Associate at Raymond James for three years. In this role, John maintained sell-side coverage of 24 companies in the energy services and equipment sector, analyzing the financial performance and making investment recommendations for these companies. John holds a Bachelors of Science in Petroleum Engineering with a Business Foundations Certificate from The University of Texas at Austin.
