Carole Mariani

Carole is the Director of Origination at energyRe, an IPP building transmission, offshore wind, and onshore renewables. Carole oversees sourcing, negotiation, and execution of offtake agreements for the utility-scale renewable portfolio, working with all customer categories including corporates, industrials, utilities, and other load-serving entities.

Carole has worked in the power industry for over a decade, most recently negotiating transactions to support an asset base of standalone storage at Broad Reach Power, now owned by Engie. Carole previously served in several positions over eight years at Calpine, where she led valuation and pricing activities for acquisitions, divestitures, and project development on the Corporate Financial Analysis team and spent time on the Structuring and Portfolio Analysis teams working with and optimizing returns for wind, solar, thermal, and storage assets.
