Why Rice Business?
My wife and I both chose Rice Business for several compelling reasons. Firstly, we were fortunate to be admitted together, which allowed us to embark on this academic journey, sharing experiences and supporting each other throughout our studies. Moreover, Rice Business stood out to us due to its generous financial support. This aspect was crucial as it alleviated some of the financial pressures associated with pursuing higher education, allowing us to focus more on our academic and professional growth without the constant worry of financial constraints.
What does The Consortium mean to you?
The Consortium represents a unique opportunity to be part of a community dedicated to fostering diversity, inclusion and excellence in business education and leadership. For me, being a part of it embodies a commitment to making a meaningful difference and creating a lasting impact beyond individual achievements. It aligns with my values of promoting diversity and inclusion in the business world, ensuring underrepresented individuals have access to resources and opportunities to succeed. This mission resonates deeply with me, as I believe diversity and inclusion drive innovation and excellence in business practices.
What does a Consortium Liaison do and what are you looking forward to most in this role?
As a Consortium Liaison, I help bridge the gap between students and The Consortium, ensuring that the values and goals of The Consortium are effectively communicated and integrated into the student experience. My primary responsibilities include mentoring, providing support and contributing to the continuous improvement of the program and the overall student experience.
