Alanna Motzi
Organization Development Consultant, MD Anderson Cancer Center

Alanna T. Motzi is an Organizational Development Consultant in the Leadership Institute at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Baylor University in Waco, Texas and her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Houston in Houston, Texas. Alanna holds a clinical social work license (LCSW) in the state of Texas. She also holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification through the Project Management institute, a certification in change management through Prosci, and is certified in executive coaching through the International Coaching Federation.
Alanna has over 20 years of healthcare experience at MD Anderson Cancer Center. She began her career as a Social Work Counselor in the Department of Social Work, where she worked with patients and caregivers in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She later worked as Project Consultant in the Division of Clinical Support Services, where she facilitated division-wide quality improvement efforts and strategic planning initiatives.
Alanna currently serves as a consultant and facilitator for change enablement and as a leadership coach within the Leadership Institute.
Along with her experience in change management and coaching, Alanna has experience in quality and process improvement, survey administration, data analysis, program design and evaluation, and training.
