Rice Business Partners Roundtable Series
How We Describe Social Inequality and Why it Matters
Join Rice Business Partners and Assistant Professor of Management, Sora Jun, on Wednesday, February 22 at 11:30 am - 1:00 pm CT.
Professor Jun will be discussing her research examining inequality frames and why they matter. Prior research finds that the way social inequality is described — as an advantage or disadvantage — significantly shapes how people respond to inequality. Professor Jun will present research from two papers that investigates how popular media, scholars and lay people describe social inequality, and will explain the practical implications and suggestions for leaders and policy makers.
This Faculty Roundtable is hosted by Rice Business Partners and is open to all Rice Business students, Rice Business alumni, Rice University alumni, Rice Business Partner members, and the general public.
