What is the CDO?
The Career Development Office (CDO) at the Jones Graduate School of Business serves to support each student’s development of a career plan throughout their two years. The full-time student's engagement with the CDO begins even before classes start in order to prepare for the summer internship with the MBA Career Management Online Course. The CDO is comprised of two teams: the Recruiting and Employer Relations Team works mainly with employers and the Career Education and Advising Team works primarily with students.
Who are we?

What services do we offer?
The CDO provides group workshops and works individually with students to ensure they develop the strategy, job search skills, and networking opportunities that will help them succeed in the professional MBA job market. Recruiting events, such as company information sessions and a career fairs, occur each semester. We also provide advising and support to all JGSB alumni. -
When can admitted students begin using services provided by the CDO?
CDO staff begin assisting admitted students with their career search through administration of the online course. Admitted students can also reach out to CDO staff with specific questions regarding the pre-MBA opportunities listed on the Admissions website.
MBA Career Management Online Course
Upon acceptance to the MBA program, students are required to participate in an online course during June and July in order to gain access to the Jones Graduate School of Business On-Campus Recruiting systems. In this course, they will develop a portfolio of career and job search tools necessary for finding their desired internship or job post-graduation. The MBA for Professionals student’s career development begins in their second year. -
