In collaboration with the Baylor College of Medicine, the business school offers the MD/MBA dual degree program for candidates seeking to integrate business knowledge with expertise in medical schools, physician groups, hospitals and managed care organizations.
The U.S. health care industry faces many challenges such as sky-rocketing costs, increasing demand, inadequate access to health care, inefficiency, inconsistent quality of services, non-uniform processes and more. Increasingly complex changes in the health care and life sciences industries require physicians to take on leadership roles in nontraditional capacities. You could be a part of the solution.

- Year 1 (Fall-Spring): MBA tuition and fees
- Year 2 (Fall only): MBA tuition and fees
Merit-based scholarships are determined on the strength of the entire application package, including your GMAT/GRE/MCAT score, undergraduate transcripts, work history and leadership experiences.
All applicants to the Full-Time MBA program (both international and domestic) are considered for merit-based Admissions Scholarships, which can range from 10-100% of tuition. There is no separate application process for scholarship consideration. Once your application is submitted, it is reviewed and considered for scholarship based on all required criteria within your application. If you are admitted to the Rice MBA Full-Time program, any scholarship award will be announced in your admission packet. Your admissions letter will indicate the amount offered per academic year. You may receive a maximum of three semesters of scholarship funding.
