Kevin Bentley

Kevin Bentley attended Preview Jones Diversity to help him decide where to pursue his MBA. “It was important to me to understand how Rice would be able to meet my needs socially and to see the other top talent that the Jones School was recruiting. Being an African-American, I wanted to know that I would be in class with people I could relate to. There were so many intelligent individuals that I couldn’t help but get excited about the opportunity to be classmates with them and to challenge each other daily. Ultimately, I decided on Rice because of the people. I felt right at home.”
Preview Jones Diversity influenced his decision. “I feel like we have a good mix of students from all walks of life. The diversity of knowledge allows me to be my best daily and to learn whatever skillset I want. We have a strong international presence within our student body. There are many different cultures, which gives me the opportunity to learn about others, and how they live in their respective countries. Rice strives to build a diverse class to facilitate the most well-rounded education possible.”
"After finishing my career in the NFL, I knew I still had a childhood dream that I could make a reality: attaining and MBA. For as long as I can remember I talked about getting my MBA and eventually becoming the CEO of a company. I am grateful to have the opportunity to do so at Rice"
