This engaging discussion will feature an inspiring lineup of thought leaders and change-makers, each with a unique perspective on creating sustainable solutions for pressing societal challenges. The event will take place Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at 8:30 am CT in the Anderson Family Commons in McNair Hall.

Former Manager of the Minnesota Timberwolves and now the Head of On-Court Basketball Strategy & Business Development for WME Sports, Joe brings a unique blend of sports strategy and community impact to the table. Joe also leads his own nonprofit, reflecting his unwavering commitment to driving positive change.
Grace Rodriguez
As the Executive Director of Impact Hub Houston, Grace is a trailblazer in the social entrepreneurship ecosystem. Widely respected for her leadership and advocacy, she has dedicated her career to empowering entrepreneurs to build ventures that address critical global challenges.

Runsi is the founder, President, and CEO of Ovarcome, a globally recognized organization dedicated to supporting women affected by ovarian cancer. Inspired by the memory of her mother, whom she lost to ovarian cancer in 2009, Runsi established Ovarcome in 2012, and under her visionary leadership, the organization has seen remarkable growth both nationally and internationally. Runsi is a Rice Business MBA graduate and also holds a master’s degree in economics.
