Vishruti Jakhar

Vishruti Jakhar is the Senior Operations Efficiency Engineer at Transocean. She started her professional journey working on ultra-deepwater drillships with Transocean and Pacific Drilling and left her offshore Assistant Driller role to get an MBA degree from Rice University. Vishruti has 8 years of offshore drilling experience and has worked in 9 countries, across 4 continents. In addition to her current role, she also serves as a Board Director at the Women Offshore Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides support and resources to women working at sea.

At Rice Business, Vishruti contributed to the Rice community as the Rice Energy Finance Summit Co-Chair, Rice Indo-American Business Association President, Rice Energy Club Vice-President, and Jones Student Association – International Chair.
