What about the Rice MBA program has surprised you the most?
The extent of the opportunities in valuable extracurricular activities has been overwhelming. There are clubs, competitions and activities happening what seems like every single day at JGSB, and the value being offered by the variety stands unmatched in other PMBA programs in town.
What has been your favorite moment of your Rice MBA experience so far?
The end of Immersion because it set the tone for the program, but more specifically our class forged a powerful bond in coming together to complete that week. I haven't felt that kind of immediate camaraderie in a group since I was in undergrad.
What is your favorite thing about and/or favorite spot in Houston?
I am a Houston native and have always loved the H with a passion for many reasons, but I have to say my favorite thing about Houston is the undeniable culture of friendliness that you will not find in any other metropolis of similar size.
In a sentence, what is the one piece of advice you have for prospective students?
Develop the mentality that nothing in the world is going to deter you from achieving your goals while completing your MBA.
