Taneshia ("T") Canady Barton

Taneshia ("T") Canady Barton is a founding member and CEO of ThinkPower, Inc., a boutique consultancy focused on driving positive disruption and game-changing results via strategic execution and operational excellence. As a chief strategist and global leader, her passion for innovation and technology is rivaled only by her passion for preparing upcoming generations for success as an active STEAM advocate.

Ms. Barton has an undergraduate degree in chemical engineering, with the Distinguished Student distinction, from the Dwight Look College of Engineering at Texas A&M University and an MBA from the Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University. She is currently president of the Rice Alumni | Entrepreneurs & Innovators organization, on the Jones Graduate School Alumni Association Board, a Class Ambassador, and a member of the Texas A&M Lettermen’s Association. She was a 2010 recipient of the Jones Citizenship Award and M.A. “Mike” Wright Leadership Award.
