What about the Rice MBA program has surprised you the most?
I was surprised by how close and supportive the Rice community is, especially in the Jones School. Rice does a great job of not only ensuring you receive a great education, but works closely with your job search, and provides many social outlets that help create that strong community.

What has been your favorite moment of your Rice MBA experience so far?
My favorite moment was receiving the internship/full time offer I wanted. Searching for a job is one of the most stressful experiences at business school and having that completed has allowed more time to focus on classes and enjoy all of the extracurriculars Rice has to offer.

What is your favorite thing about and/or favorite spot in Houston?
My favorite thing is how diverse the culture in Houston is. There are many different parts of town that offer great food and entertainment.

In a sentence, what is the one piece of advice you have for prospective students?
My piece of advice would be to enjoy your time in business school. You can get stressed with the academics and job search, but this is also a great time to make friends and pursue hobbies that you might not have as much time for once you are done.
